The 2008 Krispy Kreme Challenge was a tremendous success. Over 3000 people registered to help raise $20,000 for the North Carolina Children’s Hospital. Both numbers more than double last year’s marks. We would like to again thank all of our sponsors, as well as the volunteers and participants that made this event possible.

A final, accurate registration count, donation amount, and Challenger race times will be posted soon.

Congratulations to Anita Ketcham, our 2900th registrant! All of us at the KKC organizing committee are working round the clock (literally) to prepare for this unbelievable turnout. It’s going to be crazy tomorrow!

We will be in the NC State Brickyard on Thursday, January 24th from 11:00am to 1:30pm and at the Krispy Kreme store on Peace St. on Friday, January 25th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

We strongly encourage everyone to pick up their packets before the race.
