We’ve received overwhelming positive reaction from yesterday’s race, and we sincerely thank all the participants, volunteers, spectators, and sponsors that made it happen. That being said, we are always looking for ways to improve and here are some areas we’ve identified so far because of your feedback:

• Water coolers at Krispy Kreme store: we underestimated how fast these would be drained so we were a little slow at times keeping them filled. We’ll make sure there is water stockpiled at each of the water stations for next year.
• Speaker system at the Belltower: the challengers at the start line couldn’t hear the opening ceremony. Next year, we’ll have a speaker at every corner.
• Late start: we apologize for being unclear about the start time, we should have announced the opening ceremony in advance.
• Race day check-in issues: more people than expected had “issues” with checking-in. We’re working on our database to figure out what happened so it doesn’t occur next year.

Please keep the feedback coming so next year’s event can be even better.
